Pre-Kindergarten/Kindergarten class lays the foundation for the littlest learners with developmentally appropriate activities and cooperative learning experiences using early childhood themes based on the Five in a Row series and include traditional themes such as President’s Day, Columbus Day, etc. Families have the option participating for a half or full day.

Elementary students Gr. 1-5 learn age-appropriate academic concepts via cooperative learning activities and unit studies.

Social Studies

Who was the Sun King? What was the black hole of Calcutta? Where was the Crystal Palace? How did cow fat start a revolution? With The Story of the World curriculum, students find out the answers to these questions and more!

Science

Students investigate Botany using the Classical and Charlotte Mason methodology based Exploring Creation series.

Enrichment I: Language Arts/Art

During the 1st semester, students are introduced to writing basics with Fundamental Steps. In the spring, students create their own masterpieces using Discovering Great Artists curriculum.

Enrichment II: Music/Math

In the fall, students learn patriotic/seasonal songs and learn to play bells in a group choir. In the second half of the year, students apply multiplication and division facts as they hop through multiple patterns with Hopscotch Math.

Other Offerings

music lessons

Private music lessons are available and held on Wednesdays. Lessons require a full year (two semesters) financial commitment. Contact CCA staff for information on fees, instruments taught and time slot availability.

tutoring

Private tutoring is available for students in Gr. K-12. Certified, degreed teachers tutor students in various subjects such as math and language arts. Contact CCA staff for information on fees and time slot availability.

private school covering

In addition to offering group classes, Covenant Christian Academy provides extra support and accountability to families who want to home educate under a private school umbrella (FL Statute 617). Enrollment in full Monday programs includes Private School Covering at no extra charge.
NOTE: To be considered for enrollment in Private School Covering, at least one home educator must not have employment responsibilities totaling more than 20 hours per week.

Enrollment & Fees

Students in Grades 1-5 may enroll in a full Monday Elementary Program or enroll in individual classes. Science and Social Studies are designated as Core classes and are taught by degreed teachers.

Enrollment in group classes is for the duration of the school year (two semesters), made payable in ten monthly installments. If, for any reason, the student does not attend a class, payment is still due. Enrollment is not considered final until annual payments are received. Re-enrolling families MUST be current on all fees and reports before enrolling.

Class sizes are limited; registration is on a first-come first-serve basis. CCA reserves the right to discontinue, postpone or combine classes and to change instructors. If minimum enrollment is not reached, a class may be cancelled.

Some classes have additional fees and/or require the purchase of a textbook. A $20 late fee is assessed for group class monthly installments, Private School Covering tuition and reports received after their due dates.
